Bought a Weekly USTECH100 (basically Nasdaq 100) option

Also sold a USD/CAD Weekly option (Crude oil chart is shown – CAD tends to track crude prices)

These positions were closed this morning.

The USD/CAD was a loss of about $5

The USTECH100 was a gain of about $14

We were able to move the stop loss into positive territory. Price triggered it and we were out for about + 40 pips

There was a potential support area and I went long. Now we have a “risk free” trade.

This is an exotic currency pair, so your broker may have higher margin requirements than for the major pairs.
